Manuscript draft of first and second movements. Autographed and inscribed: "For Emerson Head, my favorite trumpeteer. With love, Serge de Gastyne, Alexandria. Includes a one page undated autograph letter signed from de Gastyne to Head regarding "a large batch that went to the fireplace" and believing head would appreciate having the original. Letter is likely also from 7 March 1984 based on the ink and handwriting being consistent with the score's inscription
