Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "Dissected uplands across deeply trenched valley from road near Agana, Guam, perhaps 200 feet higher than town near sea level. Near slope is covered by Leucaena whereas the far one in coarse grasses, 3-4 feet tall, except for one eroded area. Soils of reddish-brown Latosol group."

Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "Hilly to mountainous landscape southeast of Com Mar Hill and south of Agana, Guam. Reddish-brown Latosols derived mainly from limestone (raised coral reef) under Leucaena glauca with some grasses and palms."
