Overview The Hazen band photograph collection contains photocopies of images of wind bands from throughout the U.S., along with associated metadata for each image, and a copy of a database of American Band Images. Most of the images date from the late 19th century. The collection was probably assembled as research for Margaret Hindle Hazen and Robert M. Hazen's book The Music Men: An Illustrated History of Brass Bands in America, 1800-1920.
