Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "Patches of tapioca, corn, and "prak" on stony land, Brown Forest soil material from limestone, with natural reproduction in background, eastern Peleliu Island. Some of the tapioca is chlorotic, but the corn is the best I saw in the island though the ears are small."

Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "Angaur boat #2, an LCM (landing craft, mechanized), partly loaded with Palauan passengers and being operated by a Japanese crew, as it leaves dockside at southwestern Peleliu Island on its semi-weekly trip to Koror for mail and miscellaneous supplies."
