Abstract
Jeane Ridge Young (1930-2010) came to Washington as Director of Public Information for the Public Broadcasting Service during the network's formative years after serving as PR director for Memphis' public broadcasting affiliate. In 1977, she was appointed to the Television for Learning Project under the auspices of the Educative Awareness Project for the Public Broadcasting Service.
