Abstract
The Ernest Hemingway Collection was purchased in the early 1970s from C. E. Frazer Clark, Jr., and various other sources. C. E. Frazer Clark, Jr. (1925-2001), a marketing executive, began amassing a Hemingway collection in the 1960s. Abstract
Glenway Wescott (1901-1987) was the author of novels, poetry, short stories, and essays. He met Katherine Anne Porter in Paris in the 1930s, and they remained friends for many years. Wescott's papers include several versions of the manuscript for a never-completed edition of some of Porter's letters.
