American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT) Convention, 1958
This series contains documents related to activities at the above convention held that year in San Francisco. It includes a printed excerpt from an address, "You're More Resourceful Than You Know: Business Needs Ideas," by Dr. G. Herbert True; a printed excerpt from an address, "Educational Programming is Good Business," by Donald H. McGannon; and excerpts from an address by Robert J. Burton on the "responsibility of American women in radio and television."... There is also a printed summary of an address by Harold E. Fallows, then President of the National Association of Broadcasters, delivered at the conference and a summery of a speech given by Pauline Frederick.

Glass (National Livestock and Meat Board, Chicago), Peggy Ware (Radio and TV home economist, Dudley-Anderson-Yutsy), and Margaret McDonald (WEAP-TV, Fort Worth), panelists; and "New Resources for Educational Radio and Television," James Day (KQED, San Francisco), Lillian Brown (Washington University), Stanley Donner (Stanford University), and Bill Dempsey (PIZ, San Francisco), panelists.
