Publicity, 1934-1948

Vox Pop was in the news consistently from 1934 to 1948 through magazine and newspaper articles. This subseries contains photocopies of magazine articles, original press releases, newspaper clippings, and scrapbooks. The clippings are arranged chronologically. Many clippings were sent to Parks Johnson through the Romeike Press Clipping Bureau. Researchers will find numerous clippings of a particular story filed together. Each are attached to a Romeike Press Clipping header which contains the date the story was published and the name of the newspaper. A few original envelopes from Romeike have been kept.

Magazines which contains articles related to Vox Pop are also included in this series as are 4 scrapbooks. One scrapbook contains clipping files from 1933-1938. The others were given to Vox Pop/Parks Johnson highlighting their visit.
