Episodes, 1937-1947 and undated
This series contains material documenting episodies from Radio Newsreel and Vox Pop. Radio Newsreel was an interview program that aired on the NBC-Red network from October 24, 1937 to June 5, 1938. Parks Johnson and Wally Butterworth hosted this program Sunday afternoons while hosting Vox Pop Tuesday evenings. Both programs were sponsored by products of Cummmer Products Inc: Vox Pop (Molle Shaving Cream), Radio Newsreel (Energine Cleaning Fluid). In June 1938, Johnson and Butterworth stopped hosting Radio Newsreel to devote more time to Vox Pop.
