Scrapbooks, 1951-1999

ALD began to organize its records into yearly scrapbooks periodically in the 1970s and then consistently from the late 1980s onward. Scrapbooks served to perpetuate the organization's history and inform non-members of ALD activities. Many of the same types of records from Series I such as correspondence, reports, financial records, membership lists, initiation signatures and publications can be found in this series. There are also hand-made programs for initiation ceremonies from the 1950s and 1960s. Copies of the national ALD publication, The Flame, are interspersed throughout the folders. There are also paper printouts of color photographs for the years 1997-1998 and 1998-1999. These printouts depict chapter activities for these years. Arrangement is chronological.
