Local Activities of the Adelphi Citizens Association, 1960-1976

The Adelphi Citizens Association actively participated in planning and zoning issues. This series consists of correspondence that includes letters from and to residents of the area, the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission, and Prince George's County Council members. Also included are Maryland National Capital Park and Planning public hearing summary statements, petitions, and resolutions; zoning maps; a blueprint layout of Adelphi Terrace; and the Adelphi Manor blueprint.

The Knollwood Citizens Council was a member of the Adelphi Citizens Association. The majority of the materials in the folder consist of correspondence with the Board of County Commissioners regarding zoning issues and related reference sources dating from November 1960 to August 1961.
