Transportation Issues, 1971-1976
From 1971 through 1976 the Adelphi Citizens Association participated in many groups and meetings related to Interstate 95, Metro, and other transportation issues affecting their area. In 1972, the Maryland Department of Transportation formed the Steering Committee of the Western Prince George's County Transportation Alternatives Study. At least two members of the Adelphi Citizens Association participated in this committee, which disbanded in 1973 following the presentation of its report to Secretary of Transportation Harry R. Hughes. The bulk of this series consists of correspondence and related reference sources.
Arrangement is alphabetical by topic and then chronological.
