Political Action Committee, 1944-1952

This subseries contains correspondence and reports documenting activities of the committee and the work of individual political action representatives, particularly John Knight. The Political Action Committee was convened by the C.I.O and composed of delegates from various C.I.O unions, who represented particular geographic regions. This group was charged with mobilizing union members to support the political objectives of the C.I.O movement. Arrangement is alphabetical by representative, following the general correspondence files.
