IUMSWA Official Organs, 1936-1972 and undated

The Industrial Union of Marine and Shipbuilding Workers of America produced a number of official publications to serve a variety of needs. Included in this subseries are issues of both national organs, e.g. The Shipbuilder and the Shipyard Worker, and regional organs, such as the New England Shipbuilder and the Pacific Coast Shipyard Worker. Also present are samples of local editions of the national publication, the Shipyard Worker official publications produced by individual locals have been filed with correspondence and other records of each local, which appear in Series 5. These materials have been arranged alphabetically by title.
