[Prepared in 1984 before SGB visit to Los Angeles where SGB had a short-term appointment at the Institute for Geophysics and Planetary Physics (UCLA), attended a conference on Origin of the Moon in Hawaii, and had several opportunities to interview planetary scientists. ] -- NOTE: Biographical data on planetary scientists (living and deceased), A-Y by last name; includes 1984 interviews (and correspondence in some cases) with William Alfred Fowler, Alan William Harris, Clair Cameron Patterson, Gerald Joseph Wasserburg. Also includes 1986 interview with Alfred Nier at U. of Minnesota, and notes on a 1987 letter from Evgenia Ruskol; 1992 letter from Charles J. Peterson with biographical information about Thomas Jefferson Jackson See. The list of questions for the interviews in all three folders is located in this folder.
