Quidangen Family, circa 1940s-2015 and undated
Melchor Quidangen (1909-1986) joined the U.S. Navy in the 1930s and married Felixberta Amigable (1912-1979) before WWII. Melchor served as chief steward for Admiral Glenn Davies and the couple lived in the Bellevue (Military) Housing Project on Bolling Air Force Base from 1946-1950 when they bought a house on Chesapeake Street in Washington, D.C. The couple's daughter, Clavelina (Lee) Quidangen married Pedro Sarmiento (See Series 18 below) (1).
This subseries is a collection of photographs from the Quidangen family, including photographs of their life at the Bellevue (Military) Housing Project, at their house on Chesapeake Street and their participation in community social events. Mr. and Mrs. Sesinado Guadamor, Claveline Quidangen, and the Cabigas family are pictured in these photographs.
