1968 Hogan for Congress, 1966-1970
This subseries contains files related to Hogan’s second attempt for the seat in the House of Representatives representing Maryland’s 5th Congressional District in 1966 for the 91st Congress. Hogan ran against incumbent Democrat Hervey Machen and won the seat with 52.7 percent of the votes.
Materials include administrative files, campaign literature, correspondence, financial and fundraising files, newsletters, newspaper clippings, press releases, position papers, speeches, photographs, Maryland election district maps, and audiovisual materials. The district maps are housed separately in oversized storage.
