1974 Gubernatorial Race, 1972-1975

This subseries contains files related to Hogan’s campaign for the office of Maryland Governor in the 1974 Gubernatorial race. Hogan ran against Louise Gore in the Republican primary and lost the race with 46.40 percent of the votes. Gore then lost to Democrat incumbent Governor Marvin Mandel (in office 1969-1979).

Materials include administrative files, campaign literature, correspondence, financial and fundraising files, newsletters, newspaper clippings, press releases, position papers, speeches, and campaign buttons.
