This subseries contains files related to Hogan’s son, Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Hogan, Jr.’s campaign for the vacant seat left by Gladys Noon Spellman in the House of Representatives representing Maryland’s 5th Congressional District in 1981. Hogan, Jr. lost the race in the Republican primary, finishing second out of the 12 candidates.

Materials include administrative files, campaign literature, correspondence, financial and fundraising files, and newspaper clippings.
