This subseries contains files related to Hogan’s campaign for the Senate, representing Maryland in 1982. Hogan ran against Democrat incumbent Paul Sarbanes (in office 1977-2007). Hogan lost the seat with 36.4 percent of the votes.

Materials include administrative files, campaign literature, correspondence, financial and fundraising files, newspaper clippings, press releases, surveys, and speeches.
