This collection consists of original scripts, including a copy of Star Trek's original pitch, and shooting scripts for several other popular American television programs from the 1960s and 1970s. Donor W. Lawrence Patrick is president of Patrick Communications, LLC, a media investment banking and brokerage firm, and also president of Legend Communications, a 13-station radio group.
This collection is open to the public and must be used in the Special Collections reading room. Researchers must register and agree to copyright and privacy laws before using this collection.
Photocopies or digital surrogates may be provided in accordance with Special Collections and University Archives duplication policy.

The scripts are from popular American televison broadcast shows from 1964-1974.

This collection was donated to the University of Maryland Libraries by W. Lawrence Patrick on October 31, 2016.
The materials were received by the University of Maryland Libraries in 2016. Upon arrival, the materials were re-housed into archival quality boxes and placed in acid-free folders. Materials were left in th order in which they were received; folder titles were assigned during inventorying.
