This collection contains fan magazines, academic journals, industry trade magazines, yearbooks, and bound press releases documenting the radio, television, advertising, journalism, film, and humor from the early 1900's to the present.
This collection is arranged into one series.
The Broadcast Pioneers Library (BPL) transferred the majority of the materials in this collection to the University of Maryland Libraries by in 1994. The National Association of Broadcasters donated several others serials in 1999. Individual donors have also contributed several titles to the collection of serials on a continual basis.
The serials in this collection have been arranged alphabetically. Bound and fragile serials have been shelved, and unbound serials placed in magazine boxes. Oversized materials have been separated and stored flat.
This collection continually receives additions, and new titles are added to the shelves as they are received from donors. Researchers should consult the title list that accompanies this finding aid for a complete and current list of serials in the collection.
