This collections consists of documents pertaining to the organization, structure, and land holdings of the Maryland Agricultural College and the University of Maryland. Document types include acts, charters, amendments, lists of stockholders, shares of stock, and insurance policies.

The collection consists of acts, charters, amendments, receipts, stockholders shares, deeds, indentures, lists of stockholders, and insurance policies.Theses documents cover the years 1856 to 1920.

This collection was accessioned in 1972.
These documents were brought together and placed into one series. All the paper clips were removed and replaced by plastic clips. The documents were then placed in folders in acid-free boxes. Some documents have been laminated.
