The Kerr family resided in Catonsville during the 1920’s. Son William, while beginning in business, moved to Mobile, Alabama and then to Detroit, Michigan. Correspondents are members of his family and the content relates mainly to family activities, local society, politics, business and church. The William C. Kerr Collection covers the period from 1915 to 1927.
The papers of William C. Kerr were accessioned in the University of Maryland Archives in 1972.
