Scope and Contents
Series 3 reflects both Meany's general and specific interests as secretary-treasurer of the AFL. It consists of correspondence, reports, and printed matter pertaining to several AFL committees. Affiliated and unaffiliated labor organizations, as well as general subjects are represented. Of some note are three folders labelled "Real Estate - New building" which document Meany's early efforts to locate a site for a new headquarters for the AFL. Appended to Series 3 are ten folders...
