This series consists of material related to Eppley's duties as Dean of Men, including committees on which he served during that time. It includes correspondence, minutes, reports, pamphlets, statistics, and lists. Though the materials range from 1917 to 1959, the bulk was produced between 1936 and 1947. Major correspondents include Harry Clifton Byrd, C. W. Spears, Leslie Edward Bopst, H. Burton Shipley, and Adele H. Stamp. Files that pertain to student disciplinary cases, medical records, and other personal information are restricted. Files are arranged alphabetically by subject.

Conditions Governing Access

Materials of a sensitive nature, such as those containing personally identifiable information, are restricted for 75 years or the life of the individual and may by screened and removed by special collections staff. Please speak with a staff member if you believe that materials have been unnecessarily removed.
