Maryland Preservation Campaigns, 1981-1999
The files in this series reflect Daniel S. Lynch's involvement in environmental preservation campaigns in which he was a participant, but not an official leader. Lynch maintained files on the various campaigns containing correspondence, meeting minutes, publications and flyers, and maps. The campaigns documented in this series include Brookview Farm, Chapman's Landing, Cromwell Valley, and Oregon Ridge. He also kept a chronological newspaper clippings file on preservation debates concerning Maryland and Chesapeake natural resources. For his own general reference and personal use, Lynch collected brochures on area parks and environmental organizations, promotional materials from environmental activism consultants, and cartoons and quotes pertaining to the environment.
