Correspondence, memoranda, reports, resolutions, legislation, newsletters, and questionnaires relating to the Maryland Division's legislative concerns on the state and national level. Included are reports of the Chairman of the Legislation Committee, correspondence relating to the organization of the annual lobbying day in Annapolis, and legislation of interest to the Program Committee. Issues of concern include equal pay for equal work, fair housing, insurance discrimination, education, legal rights for women, support for the Maryland Library Association, and the Equal Rights Amendment. Correspondents include Senators Paul Sarbanes and Barbara Mikulski as well as various congressmen and legislative figures. Arrangement is alphabetical by subject.
