Project Proposals and Grants, 1972-1996
This series consists of records pertaining to projects with which Trachman was involved over the course of his career, from 1972 to 1996. These records come from all stages of the projects: research, grant proposals, proposal drafts, correspondence, final drafts, and progress reports. The topics of the projects cover: aging workers, retirement, job site safety, intergenerational labor peers, working conditions, credit unions, substance abuse, and training programs for health and safety, and other potential solutions to labor issues. The projects were developed for use in the United States, Africa, and Thailand. Information about an oral history project, with interviews of labor attaches, is included as well.
