Sales, 1949-1968
This series contains materials relating to various horse sales from 1949 through 1968; documentation regarding special-event sales such as the duPont-Gaines Estate Sale (1966) and the experimental Two-Year-Olds-in-Training Sale (1975) is included, in addition to documentation of the annual Eastern Fall and Maryland Fall Sales. Materials include sales books, correspondence, press releases, nomination blanks, sales schedules, and consignor lists. The files are arranged chronologically, then alphabetically by show.
