Administrative Files, 1923-2010 and undated

This series includes files relating to the planning and execution of the Maryland Library Association's administrative activities. These records contain annual reports, reports, correspondence, and information on special interests to the MLA. Several files address the MLA's relationship to external library organizations and interest groups, such as the Cumberland Valley Library Association and Citizens for Maryland Libraries. Other noteworthy files include "Founders of MLA" and "History of MLA", which contain information regarding the establishment and subsequent workings of the Association. Largely represented are files pertaining to the Middle Atlantic Regional Library Federation, of which the MLA is a co-founder and active participant. Arrangement is alphabetical by subject.
