G-2 Historical Division: MacArthur, the Korean War, and the Occupation of Japan, 1945-1976 and undated

Series 4 contains correspondence, administrative materials, and research notes from Prange's time with the G-2 Historical Division during the Allied occupation of Japan. Highlights of this series include Prange's research about, and recollections of working for, General Douglas MacArthur; research notes and draft articles about General Matthew Ridgway and the Korean War; and general information about occupation-era Japan.
