Educational Testing Service, 1968-1976
The original proposal for what was to become Sesame Street specified that the program was to be evaluated by an independent research organization. Educational Testing Service of Princeton prepared a proposal for CTW which was to be the major "summative" evaluation of the series, and in the years following conducted other major studies for CTW.
